Do I qualify for the PMP exam?
You need either: (1) a Bachelor's degree + 36 months of PM experience + 35 contact hours, OR (2) a High school diploma + 60 months of PM experience + 35 contact hours. Our course provides the 35 contact hours. We'll help you determine if your experience qualifies during application assistance.
What if I don't pass the exam?
If you meet the participation requirements (attendance and completion of course activities) and feel you need additional instructional support, you may request continued access to course materials or additional guidance in accordance with our satisfaction policy.
How long will it take to get credentialed?
PMP® exam eligibility, scheduling, and certification approval are determined solely by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
What's included in the course price?
Everything you need: 35 PMI-approved contact hours of live instruction, access to a PMP-style practice exam simulator (1,000+ questions), digital workbook and structured study materials, PMP application assistance, two 1:1 coaching sessions with Dr. Parks, session recordings, and our satisfaction guarantee and instructional support policy.
What if I miss a live session?
Watch the recording within 48 hours, complete a brief makeup assignment, and schedule a 15-minute check-in to maintain eligibility for contact hours. We require 90% attendance (14 of 16 sessions for Tues/Thurs cohorts, or 11 of 12 sessions for Mon/Wed/Fri cohorts).
Is financing available?
Yes! We offer payment plans through Affirm starting at $250/month with 0% APR for qualified buyers. Corporate invoicing is also available for employer-sponsored students.
Why not one of those cheaper PMP courses?
Three things: (1) Your instructor actively manages Fortune 500 transformations at Honeywell — not just teaching theory, (2) Small cohorts of 10-12 students vs. 50+ in other programs, (3) Two included 1:1 coaching sessions and career advancement resources beyond just exam prep.
What's the difference between the 8-week and 4-week cohorts?
Same content, different pace. The 8-week cohort (Tues/Thurs) meets twice per week for 2 hours — ideal if you want more time to absorb material between sessions. The 4-week Fast-Track cohort (Mon/Wed/Fri) meets three times per week — ideal if you want to get certified quickly. Both provide 35 contact hours and the same comprehensive preparation.
Do you help with the PMP application?
Yes! PMP application assistance is included in your course. We provide step-by-step guidance through the entire PMI application process, project description templates, experience documentation support, and Dr. Parks personally reviews your application before you submit to ensure it's audit-proof.
What if my application gets audited by PMI?
Don't worry — we've got you covered. We help you prepare audit-proof project descriptions from the start. If you do get audited, we provide PMI audit support including guidance on documentation, how to contact references, and what to expect throughout the audit process.
How do I describe my project experience on the application?
We provide proven project description templates that clearly demonstrate your PM experience in PMI's language. During your 1:1 coaching sessions, Dr. Parks will review your specific experience and help you frame it properly. Many students struggle with this — our templates and personal review make it easy.
When should I submit my PMI application?
We recommend submitting your PMI application during weeks 2-3 of the course. This gives you time to complete it properly with our guidance, and ensures your application is approved before you finish the course so you can schedule your exam immediately after completing the program.
What's included in the 1:1 coaching sessions?
You get two private 30-minute sessions with Dr. Parks. Session 1 (early in course): Application review, study plan optimization, and personalized exam readiness assessment. Session 2 (near end of course): Final exam prep strategy, career trajectory discussion, and any questions before your exam. Additional sessions are available if needed.
Should I join PMI before taking the course?
We recommend it. PMI membership costs $139/year and saves you $150 on the exam fee ($405 vs $555). You also get free access to the PMBOK Guide digital copy and other resources. We'll discuss this during the first week of class and help you decide what's right for you.
How soon can I take the exam after finishing the course?
Most students take the exam 2-4 weeks after completing the course. This gives you time for final review and practice exams. With our Pass Guarantee, you must take the exam within 90 days of course completion to qualify for the free retake benefit.
Do I need to buy any additional materials?
No. Everything is included — digital workbook, formula sheets, process charts, memory aids, and access to our practice exam simulator with 1,000+ questions. The only additional cost is your PMI exam fee ($405-$425 for PMI members, $655-$675 for non-members depending on region) paid directly to PMI when you schedule your exam.
